Due to my product knowledge from working in Sales, i was asked if i'd be interested in learning purchasing when the previous manager left/retired. I was interested in the challenge and progression so have learnt on the job. In my time in the role the company has gone from strength to strength and at the time of writing has become the largest Hikvision distributor in the country.

Joined Dynamic CCTV, working in their sales department in a very fast paced environment, it was a totally new industry to me so had to quickly pickup the range and learn about the industry which was a challenge I enjoyed and feel I thrived in. In my time I was personally part of a 2 man team to grow one of the biggest Sub-distributors in the industry, always had a good relationship with customers I dealt with and tried to be as personable as I could. I firmly believe in giving the service that I would expect to receive myself.

After around 6 months transitioned into sales full time, providing admin support for the biggest accounts such as Misco and Amazon at the time. When account managers left the business I managed the transition and looked after the accounts before sales staff were hired.
