All group work will be in line with the relevant national guidelines such as NICE guidance and that from Arthritis Research uk. • To support, advise and motivate patients to achieve identified treatment goals using a coaching and motivational approach which encourages longer term self- management.• To support patients with long term health conditions to gain independence and increased confidence to exercise within their capabilities. • To assist with telephone advice and treatment planning in line with patients’ needs as identified by a physiotherapist• Contribute to and deliver when requested, training sessions for Physiotherapists as part of the regular In Service Training programme (IST).
