Material Requirements Specialist 4, Hybrid Engineering Planner and MRPC for Propulsion ProcurementAct as liaison between engineering and supply chain, ensuring that all new materials do not conflict with existing revisions already in the procurement process. Verify that engineering BOMs have migrated to SAP upon engineering change release, referencing the correct WBS, demand, and revisions.• Create stop work actions for buyers and vendors because of mercurial engineering on a rocket currently in the development stage, preventing financial impact by receiving materials procured under earlier, incomplete, or untested revisions.• Collaborate with engineering and procurement to coordinate change notice release dates to avoid eroding lead times and out of position work.• Design external rework orders for items requiring incorporation of engineering adjustments or corrective action due to manufacturing defects.• Oversee multiple MRP queues for planned orders and delivery exceptions.• Provide weekly status on material that does not support current flight manifest, escalating appropriately where necessary to minimize potential work stops or out of position work.• Work closely with procurement to create non-recurring purchase requisitions for SOW endeavors, engineering changes, procurement for long lead time materials and development of materials by outside vendors.

Greater Denver Area

Spearhead demand and capacity planning for over 140 retail labels of varying package types on five separate packaging lines. Planned industrial packaging in multiple manufacturing facilities and terminals.• Developed an in-depth rolling Excel based annual operating plan and sales forecast with customer level detail, packaging type detail, historical data, and real time sales which, provided a higher level of material planning. The workbook allowed for demand planning by packaging line and permitted daily planning with a long-term overview for the sales team and supply chain.• Built and maintained Excel driven MRP based on forecast, driving the daily planning throughout the fiscal year allowing for a more accurate view of staffing needs for warehousing, anticipating direct and indirect freight costs, and packaging (primarily for the retail program which consists of approximately 140 different labels and packaging sizes). Packaging procurement was redefined with this forecast in conjunction with the annual operating plan, preventing over-buys and short raw materials.• Worked closely with packaging and warehousing management to ensure the day-to-day plan was set up to maximize efficiencies by reducing changeovers on the packaging lines for both package size and label; ensuring that both the onsite and offsite warehouses were stocked with appropriate inventory and had suitable turn rates.• Follow all safe food manufacturing and inventory quality guidelines.• Worked closely with procurement to identify slow moving items for packaging and raw materials, in turn worked with sales to push certain labels that have aging graphics or short shelf dates to force turns and reduce rework and write offs.

Operations Support Workflow AdministratorOversee more than 200 types of operational failures and ensured each task had appropriate FTE scheduled to meet service level and minimize customer dissatisfaction and FTC fines.
