The five Dutch banks, ABN AMRO, ING, Rabobank, Triodos Bank and the Volksbank, have joined forces under the name Transaction Monitoring Netherlands (TMNL). Focussed on tackling financial crime by detecting money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Overall I supported the leadership and development teams building, designing and scaling graph analytics based initiatives.I architected and converted requirements from AML experts along with a team of 5 to deliver a massive scale community detection framework which allowed AML experts to find and review high risk communities across complex multi-level, arbitrary diameter network graphs.I led a number of key product initiatives including:Designing, supporting, and owning the product development of the foundational data fabric. Design and development of a long term analytics product framework. Aligned, risk, legal, internal and external business stakeholders, to unblock significant milestone to enable the first development of a multi-bank network graph investigation application named "targeted network search". I went on to facilitate product design across SME's, engineers and stakeholders before leaving.

I was a Researcher, working closely with Fraud Control as part of the CISO (Corporate Information Security Office) department.I selected, developed, and tested advanced analytics and machine learning techniques with the goal of developing new preventive and detective fraud controls. Research was carried out utilising a variety of big data technologies and tool sets. I developed solutions both independently and as part of a team. I developed a scalable string matching algorithm to validate the name on transactions matched the name on an account. I also developed models for recognising victim and mule account behaviour.The output of the research includes in depth analytical reports/presentations and the productionising of new detection models.

I was the technical lead managing and coordinating with a project manager over 10 months in the end to end migration of pur software system for a tier 1 German insurance company. This ended with a successful go live in February 2016, which has resulted in an award for customer satisfaction within Applied Intelligence, and also a nomination for a BAE Systems Chairman Award.I specialised in network analytics, entity resolution and model building. I gained experience and became an SME in insurance fraud, insider trading, and machine learning using network features.Experience in Base SAS, Python, R, SQL, XML processing, JBoss, Linux and Oracle.Experience delivering production grade software for 10 national and international tier 1 clients.
