At A-Rod Corp, we invest primarily in sports, entertainment, and real estate. I started the firm in 1995 by purchasing a single duplex. As I acquired apartment units across the southeast U.S., I recruited a team of experts, and we built a fully integrated real estate investment and development firm. Over the past ten years we’ve transformed A-Rod Corp into a broad-based alternative investment company. In 2021, I joined the ownership group of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx. That same year, I co-founded VCP Ventures in partnership with serial entrepreneur Marc Lore, an incubator-venture fund, with a mission to invest outsized amounts of early-stage capital in a concentrated portfolio of innovative companies and visionary founders. That same year we created A-Rod Media, a division of A-Rod Corp that houses all the content we create and services the companies in our portfolio with marketing, operations, and strategic support. In 2023, we launched The Deal on Bloomberg with my co-host Jason Kelly, covering the intersection sports, entertainment, and investing—highlighting how these domains are colliding in unique and unprecedented ways.Fox is my broadcast partner and where I serve as an MLB studio analyst alongside Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, and Kevin Burkhardt.I am on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club of America and the University of Miami.
