•Perform general civil/structural engineering analysis, design, detailing and evaluate the existing facilities•Oversee the preparation of construction documents/specifications and provide support to field personnel and other internal/external clients•Evaluate the effectiveness of technical systems and provide technical expertise, support, and recommendation to field personnel, internal and external customers •Provide support to Seismic Group, Northern Region Group, Metro Group, CFF, SC&M QC Group, and SC&M Fall Protection Group in all structural technical aspects as a Structural Subject Matter Expert (SME)

•Provide technical assessments of project and prepare a scope of work for bidding engineering service providers.•Review and evaluate engineering service provider's qualifications and proposals.•Provide technical expertise and assistance to construction management.•Oversee all technical aspects of projects.•Provide field investigations.

•Responsible for client contact, establishment of project scope of work, fees and schedule, supervision of drafting personnel, project design and production, overall project coordination, and obtaining building permits from the local and state enforcement agencies such as DSA & OSHPD.•Perform as construction administrator/manager reviewing and responding to RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, change orders, cost estimates, and attend job site meetings and prepare job site observation reports and provide technical support to the construction team and other disciplines.•Project include hospitals, retail stores, commercial buildings and seismic assessment/retrofit.

•Responsible for producing structural calculations (using wood, concrete, steel and masonry design), specifications, structural drawings, supervising drafting personnel, peer reviewing other engineer's work, and obtaining building permits from local and state enforcement agencies such as DSA & OSHPD.•Perform as construction administrator/manager reviewing and responding to RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, change orders, cost estimate, and attend job site meetings and prepare job site observation reports and provide technical support to the construction team and other disciplines.•Project include public schools (K-12), universities, hospitals, fire departments, libraries, community centers

•Responsible for producing structural calculations (using wood, concrete, steel and masonry design), structural drawings using AutoCAD, and obtaining building permits from the local and state enforcement agencies.•Perform as construction administrator/manager reviewing and responding to RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and attend job site meetings and prepare job site observation reports and provide technical support to the construction team and other disciplines.•Project include custom homes, commercial buildings, retail stores, seismic assessment/retrofit and fire-damaged assessments for insurance companies.

•Responsible for producing structural calculations (using wood, concrete and steel design), and structural drawings using AutoCAD.•Projects include track homes & religious institutions overseas.
