My path in medicine began working in the fitness industry over 25 years ago, and back then I was totally consumed with the thoughts that food plays a greater role than just fitting into your favorite pair of jeans. Ironically, as I've made my way out of the burnout from my conservative sports medicine clinic back in 2017… I never expected for things to come full circle. As was the case back in 1991, I made the decision again to rectify years of not putting my health & wellness at the top of my priority list. Part of that included choosing to live in a location where we would be able to make daily healthy living a priority, and hence we are now in Bend, Oregon. Additionally, I have made the long thought out decision to step away from mainstream medicine; owner of a clinic, and enter into a larger market virtually, as a Functional Nutrition Clinician and Health Coach. Recently, I've partnered with my life partner of 18 years now, where we've taken our 1:1 coaching from the past 8+ years now — to a larger group program. We have combined our talents as professionals, and transformational coaches into what feels like a true culmination of both our separate paths. We have aligned our paths into our joint mission, of coaching physicians on how to transition into virtual medicine, and re-create a life they truly love. When not neck deep in the latest information regarding helping others unlock themselves to achieve more in their lives, functional medicine, functional nutrition, or biohacking the most out of my life — you can find me enjoying time with my family and friends in the Great Outdoors. Whether that be on a mountain bike, sliding on snow in one form or another, hiking, snowshoeing or paddling. I'm still trying to figure out how to be the best father, husband, friend, community member, and entrepreneur I can be daily. I've always been passionate about fine food, music, the arts. And while of the above is on a very regular basis, I stay grounded and rooted to our world through being a very active member in our local Chabad community. But when downtime calls, you'll find me in regular meditation, and yoga practices.
