I teach academic skills as well as the linguistics of speech, social communication skills and self help skills to autistic children. As Senior Tutor for the home based tutor teams I have the responsibility of breaking down and arranging the teaching of the prerequisite skills essential to the child’s learning and their ability to work alongside others in mainstream education. Also I use ABA techniques to encourage the development of personal and social skills which consequently improves self esteem and heightens confidence. Also gained Level 1 and 2 Talk Tools qualifications
