My work experience includes litigation (both civil and criminal), drafting legal motions and responses, trials, appeals, negotiations, record retention, and international business. I am finishing up my Masters degree in finance with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and compliance. While in law school, I completed a variety of clerkships, including the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality in Little Rock, Arkansas; Keith, Miller, Butler, Schneider, & Pawlik in Rogers, Arkansas; and Mostyn Prettyman in Bentonville, Arkansas. I also worked as a research assistant with Dean Stacey Leeds at the University of Arkansas School of Law and completed an externship with the Washington County Public Defender's Office. Those positions gave me experience in the following legal fields: environmental law; domestic relations; civil litigation; Native American law; personal injury; and business law.
