As a Tour Director, I was responsible for groups of up to 80 students from across North America. I led English and French tours in Montreal, Quebec City, and Ottawa while recounting important historical, political, and cultural information, relevant to the site. I was always positive and energetic to ensure that the students had an unforgettable experience during their trip. Additionally, I worked quickly to reasonably solve problems that arose throughout the trip while managing a tight itinerary.

During the summers of 2019, 2020, and 2021 at my full-time summer job at Riverdale Outdoor Pool I ensured a safe aquatic environment for participants through supervision, accident prevention, rescue skills and public relations. I also executed emergency procedures and used safety/rescue equipment, and performed general maintenance duties.

At the community centre pool, I taught swimming lessons to children aged 2 to 12 and lifeguarded free swim. I encouraged stroke improvement and a positive, safe and fun environment. I also taught adult beginner swimmers the basics of swimming and water safety.

In the service shop, I waxed skis; repaired ski base material and helped customers identify what care their skis and bikes needed. I was also introduced to bike mechanics and bike assembly to be sold in-store. This work was rewarding, as I was trained to use various tools and machines for ski tuning, and bike assembly.
