Myself and my Co-Directors have now sold Cabletrail to another business. Cabletrail is an innovative, patent protected system for the management of temporary or semi-permanent cables. The unique reverse hook arrangement allows cables to be quickly and easily loaded and locked into a row and held taught between two Cabletrail’s spaced up to 5 meters apart.Cabletrail can be directly surface mounted with two screws or attached to poles and columns with its zip tie features. With additional advanced features such as EID chip location and the ability to laser mark for management or branding purposes, Cabletrail provides the perfect solution to safely handling and managing cable runs in any industrial sector.

I worked as part of the lecturing team on the BA and Bsc Product Design courses. My duties included running project, professional practice and sustainable design modules and leading the management of franchising the courses to overseas Universities.Additional activities included writing new modules and courses, assisting with recruitment and building links with industry.

My first professional design position where I worked as a product / industrial designer on many varied products in the business to business sector. The role involved concept generation and development, design for manufacture, styling, production level 3D CAD, prototyping, digital visuals and renderings, client presentations and model making.The sectors I worked across included home-wares, garden products, power tools and food and drink.
