I currently work for the Basil Family at their Ford Dealership as a Main Shop Advisor. I work with customers and technicians to determine the proper repair for their vehicles and help to ensure the work is done quickly and correctly and with as little inconvenience as possible. previously I worked at Candlelight Cabinetry as driven employee who has been with the same company for 22 years but looking for Career Growth not available where I was. Along the journey I have taken opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and training when possible such as participating in the company Health and Safety Committee, Heartsaver AED certification and equipment certification. I was complimented by the president of the company that I had two of the smoothest operating departments in the company, one of which I increased production by over 30% weekly. My duties included hiring, firing, discipline, performance evaluations, equipment research and purchase, layout modifications and product flow, scheduling and cross department communication, SOP creation-review-revision, process analysis and weekly meetings with the president of the company. In quality I created a new inspection process and improved standards creating the new quality standard for our outgoing product. Additionally I reviewed current assembly standards and designed new templates and jigs used to decrease cabinet production by as much as 50%. In the 4 years I was in Quality Assurance I personally inspected 182,000 cabinets and owned the quality of every single one. I have excellent communication skills and have facilitated greater communication and interdepartmental structure to achieve higher production and quality standards throughout the facility. Over several years I was used to analyze specific production or quality deficiencies. I would work with the department employees and managers to isolate conditions that prohibited optimal results and company expectations. Once the root cause was identified I would work with upper management to determine the appropriate corrective action and implement changes deemed necessary for success. I am a leader and get results from the people I work with through respect, fairness and consistency.
