I’m a full-stack developer who loves nothing more than working on products and applications that have a true impact on users’ lives. I thrive on facing down complex technical challenges, both autonomously and in dynamic collaborative settings. My interest in all things tech, including how the internet worked, started as early as I can remember. After an 8-year stint running logistics for an Army Combat Support Hospital, I landed at a garage door design, installation, and repair company. I developed many skills, including customer service, account and relationship management, sales, and all the technical aspects of the garage door industry. While I loved this work, I couldn’t shake my interest in the tech space, and thus began self-teaching front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I loved what I was learning so much that I enrolled in an online web design training program, and eventually took the plunge and started an immersive full-stack training program. I’ve built full-stack applications and websites in the MERN, Python, and Java stacks, and believe that I’ve found my calling. I’m seeking a mission-driven company where I can lend my skills to building impactful products alongside other passionate developers.And now I have been working professionally as a Software Engineer since February 2022.I started out as a Intern for an amazing start-up called outspoke as a MERN stack developer, Working closely with a small group from around the US building a new application with a focus on responsive design.Currently I am a Software engineer for Doran Jones INC.
