Warehouse Manager of the Western Canada Timber Mart DC located in Langley, BC. Our focus is to supply all of our dealers with the best possible service, while keeping operations costs within budget.

I am currently employed as the Operations Supervisor for the Timber Mart Distribution Center in Langley, B.C. My duties include:- Maintaining daily productivity with focus on impeccable accuracy, while maintaining labor costs and keeping staff working at a very high level throughout their 8 hour shift. - Inventory control & accuracy, dealing with daily discrepancies in the system as well as shipping errors, miss picks etc. - Cycle Counting - making sure the inventory is counted twice in each calendar year, saving a year end inventory from happening. - Health & Safety - proper training and daily enforcement of all health & safety protocol, from safe practices to handling dangerous goods to wearing the proper protective equipment etc. - Weekly & Monthly Metrics - in charge of keeping track of our weekly/monthly/yearly numbers from all aspects of the warehouse (all transactions/picking/receiving/put away/returns/cycle counts) in Excel spread sheets.

In charge of a 6 man afternoon shift, which included making sure all daily workload was completed within our 8 hour shift…as well as the beginning of next days orders. I dealt with discrepancies and inventory control while on the shift as well. Health & Safety was also one of my main focuses.
