Exeter College, founded in 1314, is one of the oldest constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. The Middle Common Room (MCR) is its graduate student body of around 250 students. As President, I sat on the College's Governing Body and various committees, representing the interests of Exeter's graduate students. I also oversaw the MCR committee in its role as the core of the grad student community, which involved organising social events, providing welfare support and managing communication between the students and the College.

Conducted research into photoionisation of the outer reaches of spiral galaxies by radiation from the galactic centre, accounting for warping in the galactic plane. Simulations were written in MATLAB.This research was conducted as part of a Denison Summer Research Scholarship from the School of Physics, supervised by Professor Joss Bland-Hawthorn of the Sydney Institute of Astronomy (SIfA).

Greater Los Angeles Area

Member of the JPL/MIT/Caltech team (CoSTAR) for the DARPA Subterranean Challenge, a robotics challenge in which the aim is to develop a team of robots to autonomous explore, map and navigate challenging subterranean environments. Contributed to architecture design and implementation of the team's multi-robot SLAM system, including algorithms for inter-robot data association and performance evaluation.

The Australian Centre for Field Robotics is one of Australia's leading research groups for autonomous systems and automation. My internship related to ACFR's Smart Cities initiative, working towards the goal of providing smart transportation options in crowded urban areas.• Software design and development for ACFR’s autonomous vehicle program, working primarily with Robot Operating System (ROS) drivers. • Worked as part of team to integrate new sensors (optical camera & LiDAR) onto existing vehicle platform.
