Over the past seven years I have developed experience working within various engineering fields and am currently at a senior engineer/project manager level. The bulk of my experience has been achieved within the structural inspection and reporting sectors, including structural assessment, design, site and materials investigation and project management. My structural inspection experience includes a wide variation of structures such as bridges, multi-nodal port / harbour facilities and dams. I have developed my knowledge through a diverse range of projects and have been progressively given more responsibility on each successive project. I have built up a significant base of technical experience while working on various construction, infrastructure and emergency inspection / assessment projects in the UK, Ireland, United States of America and Bahrain. This has included specialist training in rope access, confined space entry and commercial diving.During these projects I have gained significant experience in the development of condition and structural assessment reports for various marine / waterfront structures. I have also developed report writing skills through composing numerous technical reports and undertaking quality control reviews of reports created by more junior engineers. Encompassed within these skills I have become very proficient in CAD drafting and surveying techniques use for site set out and hydrographical channel surveys. In the last two years, my role and responsibilities have increased significantly. This has allowed me to develop good organisation and effective time management skills.
