Moved from Tel Aviv to open the SF engineering site as the first engineer.★ Product and Delivery: Opened an Innovation Labs team, working on new product offerings for Fundbox from scratch. Main achievement is creating fundboxpay.com as a new product offering for Fundbox. Work included but not limited to: Iterated and POC'd multiple ideas, working closely with PM and Leadership to get a direction. Created a new product offering, working remotely from the rest of RND team, solving hard problems, working with stake holders, user research. Served as interim PM for a few monthsBuilt a team around the product, including BackEnd and FrontEnd developers★ Management: Created hiring plans for engineering office, scaled the team to 10 people. In charge of creating hiring pipelines, interviews, training new employees, working with internal and external recruitment agencies. Worked closely alongside PM, Marketing, Sales and Business Development teams to source requirements. Implemented agile methodology practices for communication and transparency. ★ Technology: Created website, consumer dashboards in Angular JS and Django. Researched and successfully advocated for multiple innovative technologies that were picked up by the rest of the organization (Cypress, Vue JS, Webpack, Django CMS, Stack Overflow)★ Culture: Created an internal cross company traditions, such as a company wide competition to highlight customers.Participated in new hiring trainings about the company.Initiated a "mindfulness at work" break program, promoting mindfulness and meditation daily.Built a company employee directory. Promoted a milestone achievement program where employees get badges based on company milestones.

As the Founding team member and the first Front End engineer at Fundbox, helped/created the following things :Created from scratch and scaled the web applications, including but not limited to, the customer-facing website, the application framework on top of Django, Front End Dashboards with AngularJS. Pioneered and promoted a CI and CD flow, researching and later implementing the CI TeamCity server for easier CI/CD flows. Created and promoted the "Chat Ops" concept, which is used to this day to deploy faster with greater transparency using a chatbot that's connected to CI / CDLed a team of client and server-side developers, and a QA automation person at a later stage.Implemented the Vagrant infrastructure to allow for faster onboarding of new developers, and simulate the production/testing environments. Advocated for and implemented an agile methodology, including a bug/task tracking system and advocated other teams to use it as well. Promoted Fundbox tech culture by running meetups, speaking at conferences, attending conferences. Created the Front End hiring pipeline at Fundbox, promoting a very strong Frontend Engineering quality standards.Wrote multiple productivity tools and scripts, and was in charge of the "Alex productivity training" for new employees, covering topics like Advanced Pycharm, Git and GitHub Flow, AlfredApp and more.Utilized the following technologies:CSS, SCSS, HTML, JS, AngularJS, Python, Django, Django CMS, Flask, Jinja, Coffee script, Ruby, Bash, SQL, SQLAlchemy, Vagrant

While in position, I was in charge of all the User Experience and User Interface aspects of the product. I worked closely with a designer, a prototyper, and stakeholder to achieve the maximal user experience, while navigating through user feedback, stake holder feedback, and technical limitations and time constraints.
