My role in the Sustainable Banking team revolves around a knowledge and keen interest in sustainable farming, NbS and the agricultural transition. Some of my work includes: - Supporting the Product Team to develop natural-capital aligned lending products for farmers and landowners.- Identifying and developing opportunities within the agricultural value chain to manage the impacts and risks of climate-change and nature degradation.- Support the Sales and Credit teams in their consideration of natural-capital based and green lending proposals.- Develop content or identify experts to contribute to material to support Oxbury farmers and brand as thought leader in industry.- Assist to develop training material for employees across the Bank on climate and biodiversity.

Role in the Operations department included:- Managing own cases by working closely with Oxbury’s Relationship Managers and Credit Managers to help onboard customers as well as instruct solicitors and valuers.- Preparing and processing Legal documentation such as Key Terms Documents, Agricultural Charges, Personal and Corporate Guarantees, Debentures.Role in the Credit and Risk department included:- Helping to review applications for credit facilities which involved analysing farm balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and Experian credit reports.- Additionally assisting in the activation of customer accounts and attending credit committees.
