Services:Legionella Risk Assessments - All commercial and rented property must have a Legionella Risk Assessment completed for the protection of its occupants. We complete risk assessments for all hot and cold water systems in small to medium settingsAsbestos management surveys - Regulation 4 dictates that all non-domestic properties must have an asbestos management plan in place. This starts with a survey to ascertain the presence, if any of asbestos in the property. This enables you the client to create a management plan to manage your asbestos safely and in line with the regulations. We can assist with this.Refurbishment/ demolition surveys - Regulation 5 dictates that if any work is to take place on the fabric of the building (built pre 2000), then it must have a refurbishment survey in place before work starts. The aim to locate asbestos materials in a controlled environment before contractors do in an uncontrolled environment.Sampling survey - A small sample is sent to a UKAS laboratory for analysis. This will confirm or refute the presence of asbestos. It can be argued that if you need a sample taking then the chances are that a survey is the better avenue to take. Asbestos re-inspection - As part of regulation 4, a property with asbestos materials confirmed or presumed must be monitored and re-inspected annually. This is law and an area where most duty holders fail in their obligations. We can re-inspect another firms reports and ensure that all bases are covered.
