I am an academic library professional with over five years’ experience in recruiting, developing, leading, and managing multi-role teams. My focus is on supporting staff to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences for students from all backgrounds. I currently manage 17 staff members across three teams, including a HEPPP-funded academic skills support service for underrepresented student cohorts.Additionally, I have experience in project management, continuous service improvement and evaluation, performance management, change management, operational and strategic planning and management of researcher support services.My previous experience as an educator includes 10+ years teaching in higher and vocational education sectors, focusing on developing learners’ skills in information literacy, English language and literacy, and numeracy. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of adult learners, including First Nations peoples in remote central Australian communities and correctional settings, pre-service teachers in rural and provincial regions of China, and international, domestic and underrepresented cohorts in the tertiary education sector.
