Work with Accounts Receivable, including Cash Application, Deduction Management, Collections, Customer Program Management and Reverse Logistics. I was accountable for prompt and accurate assignment and resolution of service requests. Responsible for providing outstanding support and customer service to all areas of the Kiewit Business organization. Functions of their businesses included: accounts payable, financial services, human capital management, human resource and payroll. Responsibilities: employment verification, expense reports, pay rate changes, position creation for new hires, direct deposit set up, time entry, working with internal and external vendors, research and resolve payment issues, and unemployment claims.

My main responsibilities were: Driving sales and profitability of selected departments through effective allocation strategies and analysis as an engaged member of the Planning & Allocation team. I Analyzed store sales performance and inventory needs in order to facilitate allocations. I selected the best methodology to allocate merchandise to the stores in a manner that drives sales, minimizes markdowns, maximizes gross margin and optimizes inventory turnover. I partnered with Buyers to assort, monitor receipts and deliver planned inventory levels in new stores. Analyzed product and store performance and surfaced issues in support of the merchandising strategy. I resolved store needs that were raised by store leadership and others through allocation adjustments or by encouraging Buyers to place special store buys. Worked with my Buyers and Business Manager on analyses to support the business.

Assisted in supporting the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. Provided support to the Sourcing Specialist and sourcing department including, vendor set up maintenance, item statuses, managing samples and creating quote sheets. Communicated and followed up with vendors in regard to open issues. Researched and identified new vendors and made initial contact. Worked closely in a team environment partnering with other members of the sourcing team, merchandisers and inventory to execute merchandising needs, ensure product quality, meet on time delivery, support speed to market and maximize profitability.
