My recent top professional attainment (F.I.C.E.) and Industry maturity prompted the need to set more efficient and job satisfying use of my time and to take on board responsibilities more directed to design and project management with sustainability and environmental issues, research and professional development to the fore. It was decided that a new vehicle - Geolex (UK) Limited - would be suited to achieve this aim. I have now formed close associations with a piling D&B specialist, an internationally recognised hydroponic wall system company, a university civil engineering department and the I.C.E. to both illustrate and reinforce this new mission statement.My aim is now not only to proceed with the same enthusiasm, focus and energy of a man perhaps many years my junior (!), but with added zest in demonstrably meeting my new goals and to be a strong influence in the Specialist Sector of Earth Retention to fellow Civil Engineers, Project Managers and Construction Industry Directors alike

I founded Geoforte Limited in 2001. As the Managing Director and major shareholder have overseen the company's emergence and consolidation into a recognised specialist geotechnical contractor with a turnover of over £1m per year. As such, I have ultimate organisational responsibility and been involved in a number of innovative designs for a significant portfolio of projects including financial outcomes for total package Design and Construction specialist groundwork schemes.

Responsible for annual turnover and profitability of the South East of England Regional Office. Controlled a regional team of Engineers, Technicians, Site Supervisors, Sales & Admin. support Staff. Coordinated all aspects of the business from conceptual design through to full construction on site. Projects include: Reinforced Earth Walling and Soil Nailed slopes at BR Woking and Westhampstead Stations for Railtrack & M40 J2-3 widening; Gravity walls at M2 infrastructure works; and numerous commercial, domestic and housing development schemes.
