▪ Oversee and head the Information Technology department for Leading Edge Academy, building it from the ground up, hiring and managing a team of eight technicians who collectively support a network of five K-12 Tuition-free Charter schools with just over 2,000 students and 250 employees▪ Designed and implemented all Leading Edge Academy technical infrastructure including: networking equipment, servers, virtualization and security (both hardware and software), personal computers and laptops, ensuring each campus runs on a secure VPN without interruptions, on up-to-date technology ▪ Launched technical support and training for Academy students and staff consisting of a wiki portal for self-help documentation for IT department technicians to help with common issues as well as for student and employee-facing, ongoing bi-annual training and help desk support via phone, email and chat, all logged in a ticketing system where students and teachers can track progress on issues with clearly defined SLAs ▪ Established IT budget, now over $250k, spanning across five campuses and control quarterly and annual spend which includes asset tagging, management for monies allocated from grant funding, and finding ways to reduce costs such as utilizing open source solutions in place of many SAAS solutions, and reusing parts when possible ▪ Improved security through the implementation of multi-factor authentication, SSO, and secure VPN connections and implemented backup and restore solution, to ensure data availability, reduce time to get servers backup and make sure all data for students and teachers is secure

▪ Provided IT recommendations and ongoing technical support on a part-time consultative basis to the Academy management, staff and students prior to the IT department being formally established ▪ Established equipment maintenance and replacement procedures▪ Developed, documented and maintained a system of technology policies▪ Started and maintained asset management system, eventually implementing Snipe-IT for all technology equipment

▪ Provided technical support to over 300 scientists, engineers and other Air Force personnel at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) which is a research organization operated by the United States Air Force Materiel Command ▪ Troubleshot various technical problems which spanned across a wide range of hardware and software▪ Maintained intranet sites weekly, adding new photos and information regarding different events or changes happening onsite
