I have a bachelor’s in biology with concentration in biochemistry from the University of Maryland. I started working in ABA as a behavior technician at Center For Autism and Related Disorders. I advanced to a senior BT and got my RBT. I began my master’s program with Purdue University in psychology. I found BrightBloom Centers in Delaware more aligned with my values of compassionate care, manageable caseloads to ensure quality services, prioritizing caregiver relationships and quality of life, and offering a comprehensive mentorship program. I graduated with my Master’s in psychology with a concentration in behavior analysis. I am now a practicing BCBA with BrightBloom Centers. I provide child-led, compassionate, trauma-assumed behavior analysis services to autistic children ages 16 months to 8 years old. I use evidence based naturalistic teaching to help those I serve learn and practice autonomy, advocacy skills, functional communication, skill-based treatment, and work on goals that’s the family views as significant for having their child be most successful. I advocate for those I serve and their families across clinic, school, home, and community sessions. My care prioritizes trust, safety, and joy over compliance to create a therapeutic alliance in which clients want to engage with in services and learn difficult skills to help them be successful. I am passionate about disseminating knowledge of ABA to related fields (PT, OT, SLP, Special Education, First Responders, and Medical Professionals), community integration and NET, compassionate trauma-assumed care, caregiver collaboration, and hybrid service modalities to increase social validity and create meaningful, sustainable outcomes.
