I was placed at Wilson Elementary School in the Learning Center. As a Student Intern in the dual immersion program, I received training on developmental assignments and collaborated with three teachers to implement a new testing structure for over 30 underperforming students. I assisted in testing efforts during the spring semester to further support these initiatives. Additionally, I coordinated a manual organizing system for a bilingual book program, which included a parallel data filing catalog. I maintained in-person communication with six teachers to provide updates on each classroom of 15-30 students. I also performed basic data entry, logged over 100 book rotations a week, and analyzed missing book rates through routine reports to staff, enabling us to determine effective strategies for maximizing book recovery.

In my role as a Study Away Program Assistant, I devised five content models tailored to various programs and resources, including campus flyers, event speakers, financial workshops, and social media posts to boost student participation. I arranged four speaker presentations for incoming and current students during orientation and university events, consistently engaging audiences of over 20 participants. Furthermore, I developed correspondence for collaborations with over 20 study-away program partners and students studying abroad, utilizing in-person tabling and social media takeovers to enhance visibility and engagement. A second position that fell under my umbrella was the Ambassador Program Lead where I facilitated weekly outreach with a team of ten Study Away Ambassadors, effectively sharing vital information about study abroad resources with the student population. I delivered thorough presentations to the ambassadors twice a month, providing updates on projects, new assignments, and upcoming events. Additionally, I established a framework for program operation by creating four comprehensive presentations, a project template, a dedicated communication channel, and a Google Drive repository to enhance efficiency for subsequent semesters.

In my role as a Correspondent, I authored a blog consisting of nine entries that explored travel, language, and culture through a personal lens, measuring and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of various experiences. I also composed a series of twelve social media posts, managing the design process to highlight elements of international exchanges, such as travel, heritage sites, cultural events, and diverse communities. Furthermore, I completed a full semester of Spanish language immersion, engaging deeply with literature, history, film, and professional speaking workshops. After this job was completed, I transitioned into a remote Volunteer position where I have advised over ten incoming students to the IES Salamanca program, responding to their questions about class offerings, student life, language immersion, international travel, budgetary concerns, and local culture. I also participated in an IES Abroad Alumni Panel with Diversity Abroad and spoke about my experiences studying abroad in Spain, focusing on aspects of my second-generation Latina identity. Additionally, I addressed monthly prompts to provide insightful advice to future applicants based on my personal experiences.

As a Marketing Student Assistant, I developed content models and organized our information and image materials internally. I crafted ten certificates, four financial support materials, over twelve-course offerings, and three types of student eligibility posts to promote the program across four social media and network platforms, successfully attracting new student inquiries. Additionally, I conducted data tracking on three social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, analyzing weekly engagement metrics such as likes, shares, and comments to identify high and low post-interaction patterns. My insights informed effective strategies, allowing me to modify content and ultimately increase engagement by 20% that year. This strengthened my experience in digital marketing, data analysis, strategic communication, and adaptability.
