I am a PhD student at UQ who is interested in utilising digital tools to improve health research. My current PhD program involves the use of contemporary data collections methods to fill evidence gaps in Australian maternal vaccination programming. In the past I have explored the use of social media for investigating various health topics. Some examples of projects I have worked on which incorporate social media and health include: understanding motivations behind individuals COVID-19 vaccine hesitant, disordered eating behaviour content, the use of social media for informing rare genetic disease, and social media communication around intimate partner violence (IPV) and youth.I'm a candidate who has a diverse research background and is adept in critical appraisal, interviewing techniques for vulnerable or sensitive populations, and digital health. I have a passion for digital pop culture and when I am not utilising social media for research purposes, I browse social media for new recipes or movie reviews. Skills: Data Analysis · Academic Writing · Literature Reviews · Evidence-Based Practice · Social Media Communication · Digital Health Research · Customer Service · Conflict Resolution and Creative Problem Solving· Mixed Methods · Qualitative Interviewing · Intervention Evaluation
