My name is Alexa Francis and I am a second-year student at Wayne State University studying Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology. I am highly involved in leadership opportunities with the most prominent being my management experience. After two years as a manager of a restaurant, I have acquired many different skills such as effective communication, organization, and quick adaptivity. This is also along with a plethora of leadership positions I held in my own personal sports and organizations. I was also an undergraduate researcher at Wayne State University, where I learned the proper use of state-of-the-art research equipment and the skills required for experiential design and ethical research practices. Given these experiences, I am very adaptive to different environments and tend to excel in fast-paced settings. I graduated high school as a Varsity Captain, Drum Major, and ended with a 3.8 GPA. I frequently volunteer for different hospitals around my area as well as participating in different volunteering events in Metro Detroit.
