I’ve been involved in building things for as long as I can remember, from makeshift hide-outs when I was a kid to the project I’m working on right now. My projects are much more complicated now but the passion and enthusiasm I had for building and making things when I was four years old is just the same today. Nowadays I’m a Project Architect at Clear Architects. My main job role involves running a project from its inception through to its completion. This means I work on a range of activities including concept development, planning and building regulations applications, contract administration and inspecting works when they’re on site. I have a particular interest in sustainable, cost effective and practical design.At JAMstudio I was involved in and responsible for a range of projects including new office fit-outs, works to listed buildings, home alterations, extensions and new build houses. Working at LDN gave me great experience working on large scale developments, master-planning and government funded projects. I worked on a number of projects including the refurbishment of a category A listed former monastery complex and the conversion of a collection of fishermens' cottages into a complex of disabled persons’ accommodation.I’m experienced with working with a range of consultants and work on a regular basis with structural mechanical and electrical engineers, bat surveyors and contamination consultants.If you’ve got a construction project you’re thinking about starting, or need advice about getting started just get in touch.
