Communication • Researched and presented data in a slide presentation to a group of Toledo Lucas County Health Department and Lucas County health workers• At the Northwest Ohio Syringe Exchange at the Talbot Center:o Helped make bags for people who came in along with providing them free food to take home. o Helped give out syringes, band aids, condoms, ointment, and biohazard containers. • Made the naloxone Narcan flyer for the health department websiteMeetings and shadowing • Met with Ms. Luster over Zoom and learned about HEALing Communities • Visited the Drug Abuse Response Team (DART) to discuss events combining both DART and the Opiate Coalition• Attending “Chalk the Walk” for the Opiate Coalition• Viewed Utoledo bus for naloxone training • Met with mental health recovery services Manage data• Project DAWN is a “community-based overdose education and naloxone distribution program” to record the zip codes into an excel spreadsheet to then be created into pivot tables• Created pivot tables in Microsoft Excel database• Created Vlookups in Microsoft Excel database
