After graduating in 2021 from the University of Minnesota, I moved to Denver, CO to gain experience working in healthcare and prepare me for my journey into medicine. Today, I am grateful to be a part of the 2027 Class at Rocky Vista University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am committed to procedural specialties, with a strong interest in surgery after working at Colorado Cardiovascular Surgical Associates (CCVSA) before entering medical school. I appreciate when my efforts can directly produce a positive change in the people around me, which is why I am drawn to surgery. Lastly, I am dedicated to promoting race and gender equity in procedural specialties, in which much improvement is still to be made.
