Originally, I wanted to study education, but my path led me into the travel industry. In the management trainee program at Sixt AG, I discovered my talent for sales rather by chance. My curiosity and willingness to acquire new knowledge helped me overcome initial setbacks and dry spells until success followed.Hungry for more, my path led me to HRS GmbH, where I could apply and further deepen what I had learned. Particularly formative was my first leadership position, which I attained due to good performance – “Show the colleagues how to do sales.” However, I quickly realized that it is not that simple, and I first demonstrated my leadership qualities. On this journey, too, I learned a lot and first built up and then refined my leadership skills.Further on, as an EA to a successful entrepreneur, I was able to learn directly from a visionary and deepen my strategic thinking as well as my adaptability in a dynamic environment. These experiences sharpened my entrepreneurial understanding and showed me how important it is to remain flexible, to approach new things with curiosity, and to enjoy constantly developing.Following the motto “Life is lived forwards and understood backward,” it almost makes me smile today that I am working in the field of Learning & Development, where I can now support others on their learning journey to bring out the best in them. In this way, I have come very close to my original idea of becoming a teacher. 😊Today, I am particularly fascinated by the possibilities that technological advances such as artificial intelligence open up for us.
