CurrentAs President of the Omega Chapter at Alpha Chi Omega, I provided leadership and support for the chapter’s executive board and active members. My role involves overseeing 14 executive positions, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective communication throughout the organization. My key responsibilities include: Leading Chapter Meetings: Facilitating productive discussions and guiding decision-making processes.Risk and Standards Management: Working closely with the executive board to ensure adherence to the chapter’s standards and effective risk management practices. Event Planning: Ensuring safe and successful chapter events by collaborating with the Risk Committee and social chair.Administrative Oversight: Managing essential tasks such as approving financial transactions, looking into finance issues, signing DocuSigns, and maintaining the Member Communication Resource.Meeting Coordination: Organizing and participating in weekly meetings with the executive board, chapter advisor, HQ consultant, Panhellenic community, and other committees.Vision and Direction: Setting the strategic vision for the chapter, ensuring alignment with the values of Alpha Chi Omega. Team Leadership: Empowering and mentoring the executive board and committee chairs, promoting collaboration and accountability across all levels.Communication: Establishing open lines of communication within the chapter, facilitating discussions that encouraged input and feedback from all members.Conflict Resolution: Addressing challenges and conflicts with empathy and fairness, turning difficult situations into opportunities for growth and understanding. Community Representation: Serving as the face of the chapter at university events, Panhellenic meetings, and community engagements, building positive relationships with other organizations and stakeholders.Through my leadership, I enhanced sisterhood and upheld chapter values.
