Hi! My name is Alexa Sousa and I'm from New Jersey. I am a sophomore at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. I would love to tell you more about my journey. My academic journey began at Toms River High School North, where I achieved a GPA of 5.3/5.5. As an AP scholar, I embraced the challenges of advanced coursework, setting the stage for my future ambitions.The allure of International Business and Operations and Supply Chain, along with a love for the Spanish language, became the compass guiding my career aspirations. My ultimate goal is to earn a degree that opens doors to global opportunities while fostering cross-cultural connections to blend my fascination for cultures and my passion for business.My involvement in an array of clubs and organizations illuminates my college journey thus far. From leading as Vice President of Scholarships and Awards in Delta Sigma Pi to directing Communications with the Capstone Scholars Service Team, I've cultivated leadership, teamwork, and initiative.Community service has always held a special place in my heart. From volunteering at RWJ-Barnabas Hidden Treasures Thriftshoppe to planning service events with the Capstone Scholars Service Team as Campus Impact, I've witnessed the impact of giving back to society and felt the impact it has on others.Beyond academics and extracurriculars, my passions include exploring the world, capturing its beauty through photography, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and enjoying the serenity of the beach and the adrenaline of tennis. I also immerse myself in the USC Campus culture by holding leadership positions on the Programming Team with Student Government and serving on committees with Phi Mu Sorority.
