Advanced Social Research Assistant
CurrentThe Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (CPCRN) is a national network of academic, public health, and community partners who work together to reduce the burden of cancer, especially among those disproportionately affected.• Assist the Project Director and Principal Investigator at the CPCRN Coordinating Center. The Coordinating Center facilitates research and practice among eight universities, the CDC, and the NCI to reduce the burden of cancer;• Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to: conducting quantitative data analysis of progress report entries using SPSS; cleaning large datasets containing up to 2,000 entries in Excel; managing and updating the grant website in accordance with the CPCRN Communications Strategy; conducting literature reviews to aid in creating and maintaining a variety of documents such as Network-Wide Guidelines for Collaboration; assisting with researching, planning, and preparation of materials for cross-center collaboration efforts and/or off-site meetings.
