The Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (CPCRN) is a national network of academic, public health, and community partners who work together to reduce the burden of cancer, especially among those disproportionately affected.• Assist the Project Director and Principal Investigator at the CPCRN Coordinating Center. The Coordinating Center facilitates research and practice among eight universities, the CDC, and the NCI to reduce the burden of cancer;• Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to: conducting quantitative data analysis of progress report entries using SPSS; cleaning large datasets containing up to 2,000 entries in Excel; managing and updating the grant website in accordance with the CPCRN Communications Strategy; conducting literature reviews to aid in creating and maintaining a variety of documents such as Network-Wide Guidelines for Collaboration; assisting with researching, planning, and preparation of materials for cross-center collaboration efforts and/or off-site meetings.

• Conducted quantitative analyses to inform policy- and community-level recommendations and services in support of the Pfizer Healthy Aging Society Project. In partnership with Pfizer Thailand Foundation, Kenan Foundation Asia launched this initiative to address the economic and healthcare challenges associated with rapid population aging in Thailand;• Researched and analyzed international best practices for policy reform in neighboring countries who are experiencing similar demographic shifts. Utilized quality indicators to measure and identify policies that have successfully improved the overall quality of the aging process through preventative means. • Conducted secondary research, project observation, and key informant interviews to collectively inform recommendations for scaling-up and improving community-based awareness campaign services/trainings marketable by Kenan.
