Aya Research Institute Inc.'s mission is (1) to provide innovative and practical recommendations for current environmental, climate, and energy justice issues that inform U.S. federal policy, and (2) to increase the number of scientists and engineers engaged in community-led research.

As a founding partner at Asé Analytics, I am dedicated to advancing health equity through rigorous research, data analysis, and policy advocacy. Utilizing a unique blend of academic rigor and practical application, my work focuses on dismantling systemic health barriers and promoting sustainable community-led research efforts. I am committed to integrating diverse knowledge systems to foster inclusive health solutions that address the social determinants of health, ultimately driving significant, equitable changes in health systems worldwide.

The role of the EDFU Foundation Inc. Advisory Board is to give advice and support to a nonprofit's governing board or executive staff to help improve strategic direction and leadership to ensure our vision of a fairer world for indigenous people is realized. The key objective set out by the EDFU Foundation Inc. is the achievement of mental, social, and economic freedom for indigenous people all over the world.

Renewable Thermal Collaborative (RTC) was founded in 2017 and is a project facilitated by the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), David Gardiner and Associates (DGA), and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). RTC Community Benefits Advisory Board (CBAB) serves as a consultative body of external experts to: (a) provide advice and guidance to the RTC community on Just Transition principles and Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) issues associated with industrial thermal decarbonization, (b) help guide engagement and relationship building with community stakeholders and (c) make recommendations on how to advance social, environmental and economic co-benefits for community stakeholders within the renewable thermal transition. As CBAB members we share independent insights, feedback, and recommendations with the RTC community.

Engineering environmental justice screening and mapping tools for state and local governments in the New England area using the Google Data Commons, resources from the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science, and the data visualization suite Glue.

On the Climate Advisory Board, I help shape the direction of UNCF climate action efforts. The board’s primary goal is to provide expert advice and guidance to UNCF ICB leadership on the development and implementation of effective HBCU-focused climate action strategies. Our main objectives for the Climate Action Advisory Board are to identify key climate-related challenges within the HBCU community, advise on the best practices and strategies to address those challenges, convene and assist with the review and dissemination of an HBCU-focused climate landscape survey, and support and inform outcomes of the survey results and provide feedback to ICB team.

This long-standing program is sponsored by the NSF-funded Nanotechnology Collaborative Infrastructure Southwest (NCI-SW) and led by Dr. Jameson Wetmore from Arizona State University. During the workshop, fellows investigate the context of science and technology decision-making in government and business at the state, federal, and international levels.
