During my time with the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC), I was part of a team that created a mock sports agency representing athletes. The agency included marketing, public relations, endorsements and contracts. I learned about the importance of strategic marketing, the legal side of the sports industry, the business aspects of managing a sports team and running a stadium.

We learned the importance of starting a business that is fiscally and socially responsible. I created a business plan for a non-profit organization addressing the education inequality gap. The plan provides low income families with access to resources to learn to read.
