Alex Hinshaw has been involved in Medical and Recreational Cannabis since 2011. His area of focus has been on the operational side of cannabis business, specializing in extract manufacturing. His experience in cannabis encompasses work with some of the largest brands in California during prop 215. He was lucky enough to have extracted oil for Noah's Ark Foundation - providing life-altering medication to Noah and other children with Dravet Syndrome and similar diseases. In the chaotic environment of California’s prop 64, he has held such titles as Facility Head, Extraction, Distillation, and Production managers for a few of California’s largest operations, including names such as HeliBiotech and Midas Touch Extracts. During this time Alex had significant experience with extraction using ethanol and hydrocarbons, distillation, remediation, and isomerization. Recent work in the consulting field has focused on helping brands achieve their cannabis manufacturing licenses across the country. Working together with other consulting firms such as HybridTech, Phytologix, Vista Green Group, ICC and more - Alex has helped over a dozen unique brands across the United States achieve their cannabis medical or recreational licensing. At the same time, staying committed to the industry by helping clients with everything from trouble shooting their wiper settings, to full-scale novel isomerization projects.
