Purdue Orbital is a design build test student-led organization whose ultimate goal is to launch a rocket off a platform hanging from a balloon, into space!  Engineered with team the design and integration of a suspended cutting mechanism while considering structural needs, ability to assemble and replace parts, and mission success criteria, ensuring reliable operation under mission conditions Led a team that researched and presented engineering document management systems for entire 150 user organization, resulting in overhaul of file structure to maximize efficiency Demonstrated leadership by directing subsystem testing procedures and data collection Conducted in-depth fault analysis for both flight and rocket subsystems after collaboration with relevant design leads, allowing teams to catch design flaws and become mission ready Researched and developed test specifications; drew up documentation for critical component tests Coordinated designs and requirements across subteams to ensure overall launch capability Verified and validated mission requirements on crucial system parts, enabling first successful test launch
