I perform groundwater sampling using low-flow, pump, and bailer techniques; soil-gas collection using summa canisters; and surface soil sampling. I assist Project Managers with technical reporting, GIS mapping (ArcMap & AutoCAD), and data evaluation and interpretation. I was responsible for developing/coding the electronic field forms for onsite data collection using Esri Survey123 software. I will be refining the habitat suitability model for the endangered plant, Telephus spurge, in order to validate existing populations in the field with the goal that the plant will be delisted from the endangered species list. This Species Distribution Model (SDM) will be published in scientific journal articles upon completion. I wrote a 5-year status review on Telephus spurge, which will help with the delisting process. In addition, I assisted other projects in the field, such as freshwater mussel surveys, shorebird surveys, Gulf Sturgeon research, and marking sea turtle nests.

My job entailed marketing the apartment complex to Miami University students on campus by speaking directly with students, handing out fliers, and hanging up information in buildings. I also took potential residents on tours of the apartments and helped them fill out their lease. I also helped organize leasing paperwork and marketing supplies in the office.I was the leading marketing assistant for the year because I brought in the most leases.
