I'm an embedded software engineer with a strong aerospace engineering background looking for work in aircraft or automotive systems. I have a strong interest in autonomous aircraft systems development including machine vision/perception systems, as well and algorithms for guidance, navigation and control of unmanned systems. I manage well within aggressive delivery schedules and tight budgets.My areas of expertise are in software development for simulation and flight control systems. - Driver, module development and testing using the PX4 Autopilot flight stack. This includes controller development for various unconventional vtol designs.- Modeling and simulation, including hardware-in-the-loop using Gazebo's plugin architecture. I also designed interfaces for co-simulation between Gazebo, Matlab's Simulink, and AFSim using various protocols (MAVlink, protobuf, openDIS, RTI-DDS) - System identification using recorded logs from flight testing or test-stand/wind-tunnel testing using system ID tools developed in Matlab with available toolboxes.
