My love of programming as a creative outlet began in middle school when I built my first computer out of recycled parts. In high school, as programming lead for the robotics team, I wrote the code that guided our bots all the way to the world championship in 2016. I also had my first profession experience in high school; interning for Autodesk taught me how to tackle larger problems as part of a team.In college, I found my passion within the field of Computer Science: computer graphics and machine learning. As an intern for CMD I built the back-end for a web based artificial intelligence application and as a student at Oregon State I wrote a thesis on real-time stylized rendering.As a software engineer at Sartorius, I continued to hone my skills in an Agile development environment.Through these experiences, I have realized that the best way to learn is to do. I cannot wait for my next opportunity to widen my knowledge.
