Development focussed in parallel with production planning. Key elements include economic extraction of shallow 30-40° gold bearing structures in moderate ground conditions using longhole stoping & paste fill. In parallel maintaining sound environmental policy & implementation in a unique natural setting. Reserve + LOM contributions.

Paddy'S Flat Gold Mine/Sth Emu Gold Mine

Mine planner with responsibilities primarily relating to a rolling 13-week schedule.Role consists of design & financial evaluation of development, production & airleg activities,creation of tracking of rolling 2-week and 13 week rolling schedules, mentoring & review of drill & blast activities, as well as ventilation planning and change management. Further work consists of contractor liaison & management, bi-annual budgeting creation & presentation, process & safety improvement, software transition from Surpac to Deswik, liaison & collaboration with Perth technical team.

Paddy'S Flat Gold Mine

Production engineer responsible for all production and short-term activities primarily relating to the drill & blast cycle. Role primarily consisted of design, plan creation & short-term scheduling activities for longhole, charging, jumbo, diamond drilling, raiseboring, airleg mining & service work. Further work consisted of risk assessment & safety initiatives, primary & secondary ventilation survey, explosives management, backfill planning ventilation upgrade proposals, level planning as well as daily & monthly reporting.

Central Murchison Gold Project

Exploration geologist responsible for all short-term activities relating to drill rig management & near mine exploration. Work completed primarily focused on rig management relating to expanding Westgold's resource and reserve base across the Central Murchison. Primarily targeting to down dip extensions of known orebodies for both underground & open pit mining. Mining/resource focusmaintained with projects forming the 3 year mine plan for the Meekatharra Gold Operations.Duties encompassed all steps from initial drill proposals through drill completion reports and updating geological wireframes. Duties also involved metallurgical testing co-ordination, aircore exploration & open cut mining coverage.

Prominent Hill

Mine geologist responsible for mine geological grade control, data collection & validation. Mine geologist production duties focusing on grade control & ROM activities, data collection & validation of diamond drilling activities Project work completed extracting development data from historic mine workings. Grade control involved working closely with production, scheduling, and planning engineers to obtain optimum mine output.

Old Pirate Gold Mine

Responsible for mine geological grade control, data collection & validation. Open pit production activities relating to the grade control extraction of narrow view gold across 5 pits operating simultaneously. Duties involved geological model development, haulage, ROM management, co-ordination of open pit technicians and substitute mine surveyor duties.

Mount Isa Copper Operations

Progressed from a Graduate through to a Mine Geologist in a two year structured graduate program. Work at the Mount Isa Copper Operations consisted of all grade control activities in parallel with executing targets professionally backed by a strong safety culture. Key projects and experience include, Mine to Mill Reconciliation, Level 3 Incident Investigation, Reactive Ground Management Plan creation.
