Throughout my freshman year I have completed Altium, Solid works, and machining trainings to contribute to the development and of the race car by helping out others on the team in any way possible. For example, by working with those within the low voltage sub team I have gained experience on embedded systems involving microcontrollers. Further, I've collaborated with the other sub teams to learn and develop the car’s systems in a productive manner.As a sophomore, I am on the Accumulator sub team completing the role of cell testing. Specifically, I am designing an enclosure to test the battery cells that will be used within the pack in the accumulator to verify characteristics such as discharge rates, cell temperatures, capacity, specific heat, and voltage ranges. I will also investigate other characteristics such as cell pressure for pouch cells and research how pressure affects the performance of the cells. The data I gather will allow others on the Accumulator sub team and other related sub teams to make safe, well-informed design decisions to construct the most powerful accumulator to be used in competition.

CORE is an educational program where incoming freshmen from a rural background can receive educational and social guidance as they enter their freshman year at Cornell University from an upper classman who also comes from a rural background. This shared background is important since Cornell University can be overwhelming for some who are used to being around less people and a less urban environment. As a mentor, I frequently communicate with my mentee answering any questions that they have about classes, Cornell, or college in general before and once they arrive on campus. On campus I check in on my mentee to see how they are doing academically and socially to ensure that they build the confidence and skills to thrive at Cornell University.

As a bartender and server at Elsasser's @ 111, I managed multiple guests ensuring exceptional hospitality and sincere attention to the customers. Further, it was my responsibility to choose and create cocktails and drinks to satisfy to customer’s taste. As a result, I have obtained strong communication and task management skills within a fast paced environment.

K.O. Motorsport is an automotive boutique where I have completed manual machining and design projects to learn about machining and resolve unique automobile issues. Consequently, I have attained crucial hands-on experience by working with employees to repair and restore exceptional vehicles. Such hands-on experience allows myself to have a deeper, more insightful knowledge on parts and systems leading to more in-depth design of future custom parts.

As a front end associate I operated a register to process and bag groceries while assessing and exceeding customer needs and expectations. Further, I handled customer service by effectively managing time and leveraging team-based skills.

While at New Visions Engineering, a specialized educational program for aspiring engineers from nearby high school districts, I travelled to local engineering companies to meet employees and gain insight into the engineering profession. Additionally, I completed solid works, python, electrical, and structure projects in class to gain exposure to engineering related work. On such work I gave frequent presentations to other class members to enhance my communication skills and learn how to present a complex idea to others so that they understand as well.

As Parliamentarian of Greenwich Central Schools' chapter of Future Business Leaders of America, I collaborated with other officers to organize charity events and educational events to contribute back to the community and educate other members about the business world.
