I will be designing and implementing Denmark's first two new Marine Nature National Parks, that will ensure protection of the marine environment.

Reviewed current tuna RFMO Bycatch mitigation measures and evaluated effectiveness;Developed qualitative/quantitative rubrics to evaluate whether current practices have had long term benefits for some threatened species;Provided guidance on what mechanisms may provide more effective results towards bycatch reduction in tuna RFMO's

Conduct research and analysis in fisheries and related issues and prepare reports, papers, policy briefs. Conduct interviews and surveys to support research. Aid work on stopping IUU fishing; developing and applying fishery policy and strategy; national and regional MCS development and implementation including MCS training; developing tools and mechanisms for implementing reforms in fisheries; coordinating various networks for fisheries including a research network and an IUU fishing network.Specifically aiding on two Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) projects headed by NFDS Africa. - Elaboration of a manual on regional best practices for evidence gathering in the context of the IOTC and delivery of training to Monitoring Compliance Surveillance (MCS)officers- Assessment of and support for the implementation of the Minimum Terms and Conditions guidelines for foreign fishing vessels by South Western Indian Ocean Fisheries Commission (SWIOFC) members.

Developed 4 key strategies for Fairfishing's new wholesale cold chain IFU investment. These strategies will help ensure sustainable fishing in the region and further develop the fishery towards a sustainable future.

The organization is responsible for the maintenance , protection, education and research in the natural reserve of the Bouches de Bonifacio . During my stay as an intern , I helped to educate and make presentations at various schools in the area . It involved, among other things outings with schools, Where we learned them about the sea and how to take care of the marine environment.
