In kayaks, we surveyed the 207 miles of the St. Joseph River from headwaters to Lake Michigan. We collected visual data using 360 video cameras, documented invasive species coordinates and took water quality readings. We created a data set meant to help guide future grants and restoration possibilities. We also set out to make this available to the public to access the visuals data to see future fishing spots, boating locations, or for educational purposes.

Belize

Worked to maintain a healthy habitat and environment for the endangered Hicatee Turtle. Foraged for food, cared for hatchlings, juvenile and full adult turtles on a daily basis. Helped build rearing ponds and other structures to help support a healthy environment. Created a user video guide on how to train future technicians on how to properly care for Hicatee turtles in captivity.
