Traffic incident management is a multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional and stakeholder collaborative endeavour to reduce the number of road-related incidents that occur across the Australian traffic network. It involves the objective set-up, development, selection and performance evaluation of methodologies to minimises impact to the network such as emerging engineering technologies and the facilitation of crowdsourcing / participatory sensing to rapidly respond to real-time and complex events. The current cost of congestion and incidents impacting the Australian State Queensland is estimated at $1.59 billion and is anticipated to increase to #3 billion by 2020, current work at the Traffic Management Center and participating agencies reduce that cost by %25.

A local law dispatcher operates through the scheduling and dispatch of compliance-related complaints and tasks through a cost-effective and customer focused manner to achieve the best outcomes for the City and its people. A dispatcher will deal with 77 000 unique complaints per annum. These jobs will then be prioritised, investigated and dispatched to field-based teams for attendance.

City Safety Officer, Trainer, project officer, local law enforcement and investigator.A City Safety Officer services the public by delivering a diverse range of services from the professional investigation of matters pertaining to local law, being an ambassador to the city, disaster response and providing education and support to the public. During my time in this role, I have won several awards for exemplary customer service, team-work and negotiation of difficult and complex issues. I have trained officers to be effective operators in the complexities of City Safety enforcement. Such as legislative issues, customer-focused approaches and how to negotiate best outcomes in highly stressful situations.
