I have a Master of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Wake Forest University Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Philosophy from Wofford College. I am currently a Manager Biostatistics at IAVI, where I lead the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials and epidemiological studies for vaccine development. My core competencies include R programming, statistical data analysis, statistical modeling, and infectious diseases.In my previous role as a Statistician II at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I worked with a renowned infectious disease laboratory run by Dr. Barbara Van der Pol. I ran routine statistical reports on lab testing, developed expert statistical plans for FDA submission of new diagnostic assays, and acted as lead statistician on medical research publications. I contributed to the advancement of scientific knowledge and public health by applying my skills in R, statistical data analysis, and statistical modeling to various projects on HIV, HPV, STIs, and COVID-19. I am passionate about using biostatistics to improve global health and vaccine development, and I am eager to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to new places.
