I am responsible for creating and testing of new features to the MIB (Manual Inspection Booth) product lineup. I discuss specialized product modification requests with customers, then develop a process to implement these solutions to the devices.

Accountable for developing, creating and executing transmission calibration strategies for GM's lab based powertrain calibration group, I provided calibration support via dynamo-meter to the 8 and 9 Speed Vehicle Teams. My work kept me closely involved with the transmission calibration groups on everything from test creation and product development to Project Planing and Priority.

Completion of this Electrical Engineering Research Internship was through a Study Abroad Program offered by MSU and Leibniz University in Hannover, Germany. My research project involved sensorless speed control of an induction machine. Some of my duties included designing a speed tracking algorithm with a PLL based approach and performing current measurements using DSP Technology. I also used Code Composer Studio for debugging speed tracking algorithms.

Two summer internships: May-August 2015 & May-August 2014Responsibilities included being a project hardware engineer for the Modular Bosch Update Kiosk and Bosch Universal Vehicle Test Bench. This included creating their schematic design layouts and fabricating test instruments for modules and completing wiring for the test instruments. Reprogramming and downloading software to modules was also performed. Along with this I was responsible for regularly conferring with engineers, customers and vendors and was an in-vehicle tester.

My job duties involved the preparation of technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems, operating computer-assisted engineering equipment and implementing and maintaining electrical instruments. Other responsibilities included planning and implementing research methodology and procedures, preparing specifications and BOM and being a vehicle tester. Reporting to the engineers and management on these engineering projects was ongoing as well as conferring with customers and vendors.
