- Taking initiativeBeing a nightfill member, you are left for a long amount of time on your own and you must make numerous decisions to be able to fulfil the aisle that night. By making these decisions without pondering, I save a considerable amount of time and allowed me to finish and aisle and ask questions once my shift was done. - Asking QuestionsOne of the skills I learnt was when it was the appropriate time to ask questions and the amount of time spent on pondering the answer without asking the supervisor. Some logical thought is needed to make question; however, some are not as clear and need to be asked immediately to not hinder work efficiency.- TeamworkIn working the nightfill role essential teamwork is needed to finish the amount of work needed to be done each night. Working with another team member to ensure the aisle is done the most efficient way is crucial, especially when teaching a newly hired team member.
