Procurement of safety critical fasteners

Working on an MRO supply contract into Babcock int, responsible for sourcing spot buys enquiries covering a broad range of industrial sectors, from aerospace to mainstream consumables.

-Assisting with range planning, sourcing from eastern suppliers, sales reports and analysis.-Skilled in Oracle Business intelligence reporting software, creating reports and analysis for daily use by the buying team. -Compiling relevant pack, freight and logistics costs for importing goods from China.-Product management, price, color and bar code revisions.-Liaising with suppliers and representatives to maintain strong working business relationships.-Range planning, liaising with foreign manufacturers on product specifications, improvements and technical aspects.
